Initiatives In Collaboration With (SBT)
Salaam Baalak Trust (SBT), set up in 1988, after the success of Mira Nair’s film Salaam Bombay aims to provide care & protection services to over 50000 vulnerable girls & boys.
SBT Delhi provides full care & protection to street children through health, education & vocational training, support for performing arts such as photography, theatre, dance & puppetry etc.
Arushi Shelter Home
Aarushi Shelter Home has been providing a safe & child-friendly home to girls rescued from the streets with distressed situations in & around Gurugram. We are continuously supporting the centre with financial aid to assist in food & nutrition, staff salaries, electricity, water, security & miscellaneous expenses.
Joy Of Giving Week
Techlens Global partnered with SBT & conducted a “Joy of Giving Week” wherein employees contributed food items, warm clothes and quilts for the shelter home, and made generous financial donations too.
Make A Wish During the Christmas period, we organized Make A Wish programme with SBT. 40 underprivileged kids were requested to share their wishes & our employees got together to get them fulfilled. It turned out to be a truly memorable day for all the participating children.
